Poem for the broken hearted!!!

Do you see dearest the yonder Himalayan snows Piled above on peaks so high? if all the snow be placed on me and they say it will cool my burning love for thee,they lie.

Do you see dearest the yonder silvery Gan ges Winding her way through the fields of rye If all the crystal waters be poured on me and they say It will cool my burning love for thee ,they lie

DO you see dearest,the wavinig pines that moan And her the passing wind that sigh? These are not pines nor the winds that moan,dear But the pieces of my broken heart that cry

Do you see dearest the yonder fading lilies How pale they look, How sad, how shy "Tis apitful sight" you say. But ah. little you know These are my long cherished hopes that wither aand die.
