A Dedication
Saw the fire in Her eye, Twas
Burning bright “ had no reason to die.
Thought I could learn to fly,
To try and reach the sky.
Longed for Her touch ” It
Never came, waved goodbye.
It was all, my way “
Until yesterday ,
But has gone far far away,
Just like the wind today
Can it be the same now ?
Drowned by the tide,
Finally ” I’m free
Take me in your arms,
Heaven’s here to see.
Alas! The sun shines no more,
Upon me , nor my soul.
Woke up to the thundering black cloud,
Tears gushing down my cheeks
I cried out loud “
” I Love You ,
I still Love you dear “.
My soul glows ”
Faint, yet strong enough
Determined not to give up
Still cherish and believe,
Memories of You “ I conceive.
Thoughts to perish ;
Abide no more
Beyond the blue skies
Like a Falcon I soar
Cause I know
Mother ”
“Where ever you are,
You Love Me” .
What stayed with you?
A line that lingered, a feeling, a disagreement. Great comments are as valuable as the original piece.
