Its really strange

Stranger things happen in life, these maybe just a few of them...(wrote it 8 yrs back, and still appears true to me, so if it appears a bit naive, you can excuse me) Strange, how things happen to you A moment you are happy, the next you're sad, a moment you feel elated, another you feel bad, Sometimes you feel nothing, its like empty space, but another day, you feel ready to face, The life with, it's ups and downs, To see its colours, and hear it's sounds, To pull yourself together, and start altogether, To know you do good, and can certainly do better, And one day it will look, that all this wasn't true, Strange how things happen to you. When you stepped out of home, you were ready and clear, about what you wanted, your defeat was your fear, but you had the spirit, to start things anew, you knew you had hurdles, and could cross those few, but as soon as you reached, where you set to go, you find fate against you, and you had to bow, and let despair overwhelm, your lonely spirit, But you forgot, that you nearly did it, "Why does this happen to me?", you don't have a clue, Strange how things happen to you You feel there's , a reason for you to cheer, for you have found, someone close and dear, you perhaps see, a distant happy future, and dreams of happiness, in your heart you nurture, and one day without reason, you begin to feel you don't want it anymore, and you have lost the zeal, how you searched in vain, and when you got, you now want to get rid, of what you had sought, chuck it out, and you start anew?, Strange, how things happen to you So what happens now, is unknown and unsure, a moment you feel sick, and next you are cured, you don't know, what indeed you want, and cannot decide, the things you don't, you lie down, and let things happen, you decide to act, when the time is ripen, but you get something, what you didn't expect, and you can do nothing, just accept in regret, So wall you get is, not what you do ? Strange how things happen to you.
